Went to WWII Airpower Expo 2015 in New Orleans LA Friday. I love these old airplanes.
Had the opportunity to ride in a B25 Mitchell bomber.

That is so cool - I love seeing those old WWII vehicles.

Huge respect for the people who keep those ancient airframes air-worthy. If you thought restoring old 4x4's was tough.... well, :ugeek:

I talked to the guys who had the B29 on site. It is the only current flying B29 in existence, but a 2nd one should be ready for test flights shortly after the 1st of the year. It is a 4 engine plane. They said it cost $1,000,000 per engine to get them rebuilt.
