The Maryland National Guard has showed up to help out in Baltimore. I guess they are planning on distributing vitamin gummies from the turret mounted machine guns on top of their fully armored military police humveees. Innovative!

Thank you Plateaucal for inspiration music from Zulu. I have toured several of that battlefields and hunted within one of them.

The history of those wars, as well as similar ones in North Africa against the Dervish were brutal with a terrible price paid by those without the Maxim.

John Barry composed a lot of great music for movies. The movie Zulu is one my favorites as is the music. Need to down load some on my phone.

Well, the entire State of Colorado just got shut down. Essential activity only. Thank God I have a three week "essential" job coming up next week.

On a side note, one of our crew found eggs today! We are going to celebrate with some pork and egg fried rice. Bad part is that it was an unauthorized foray, but they wanted to surprise me with a birthday cake. Hmmm.

Not very likely. This is an introvert's dream come true. Lot's of project's I've been putting off, dogs to keep me company.

I learned a couple of days ago that the local hospital where I usually volunteer with my Therapy dog is now treating cases. So, it's here. I did a final grocery run today, got freezer and pantry items mainly. Because I would be one of the unlucky ones if I got this, I don't plan on leaving the house until May.

True dat. I always pegged you for a bit of lone wolf. Takes one to recognize one. I could live in a teepee for the rest of my life, but my crew.....they are going to need lessons.

I'm with a partner tonight to some well informed high ranking medical/military doctors.

They understand the virus forms in your throat for 2-4 days before moving to your lungs.

They say gargling Scope or equal 4 times a day will kill it before it goes down in your lungs.

I use absinthe. At 72% it doubles as hand sanitizer. But only use the raunchy stuff for that.

It's kind of like chartreuse but not really. I get most of mine from Europe. There is some sold in the states, even some great distillers. Oh, Leopold Bros is distilled in Denver, it's a decent absinthe. There's Golden Moon distillery in Golden that makes a nice absinthe, REDUX. Stephen Gould is well known in the absinthe industry. Then there's Trinity absinthe from Loveland. All good brands, if you can get one of them (or all of them!) you'll do well. Here's a good article I just found when trying to find you good absinthe in CO: https://therooster.com/blog/how-colorad ... nthe-world
