Very interesting read. Thanks for sharing.

The statistics of how many cars are silver, white, and black, at 76% is incredible. Silver 32%, White 25%, and Black 19%.

Now I feel bad for having white or silver in my cars. Boring!

I am waiting for the "wood grain" revival. I think that was the pinnacle of automotive styling. Like this. https://www.thetruthaboutcars.com/2019/ ... from-1978/

The upcoming Jeep Grand Wagoneer is purported to have the Dinoc wood grain paneling decals.

Both of my cars are white. One I wanted blue but white was what was available at the time, only 2000 in the country. The other one looked best in white. Besides, in CA any other color is suicide when it sits in the summer sun.
Beyond any hope for intervention

This can only mean the end of an economic era. Possibly the complete destruction of the United States as we know it.

Little known fact (until Rob corrects me), the 1991 Jeep Grand Wagonner was the last American vehicle equipped with a carburetor that was sold in the US.

Now that is an interesting bit of trivia. That would be the Ford 2150. I've owned a 1984 J20, and 82 Grand Wagoneer and a 78 Cherokee Chief. They all had that Motorcraft 2 bbl and it is the greatest carb. of all time. Also came on my 78 Bronco. My 78 Cherokee had a 401 and got 16 on the Interstate and would turn a 9 second 0-60, plus it had an altitude compensator built into the carb. Fuel injection; who needs it. Get a late model Jeep Motorcraft carb.

Rob knows a lot of trivia that is why he always telling me that the late 69 Patrol is the rarest Patrol ever made.
