I believe that was one of Volcan's restos from Colombia. I can't imagine causing irreparable damage to a vehicle with that kind of price tag to put a friggin stereo in it. Only the rich I guess...

EDIT: Yes, this was Vocal's 'Ivy', originally sold for $29,000 with 60,000 miles on it. The wheels have changed. https://www.facebook.com/pg/volcan4x4/p ... e_internal

Justin,
Leslie was silent on the matter, however I applaud you for posting both the link and the actual photos of the ad. You have done a great service to the community that should become contagious (pardon the contemporary use of the term).

Well, I 'thanked' his post! Yes, thank you Justin for accomplishing the technically difficult feat. I just didn't want to seem to harp on the point.

To begin with, it's not a 79 Patrol. It looks to me as a G61 Patrol. Single lever for transfer and 4WD. Most probably an 80 or 81 model.

The seller clearly is a bit clueless of some facts of the Patrol. 123 HP?

Hope somebody pays the price...

Nothing is irreparable with time, money and skill....... ;) ;) But I agree that it was a silly and needless modification.

Also, Thank you Leslie for "Thanking" the post as well.....
