Meat Shortage Coming

Got a condo in the Bahamas for sale? Post it here

Well, the next surprise the socialists in DC have arranged will be a serious meat shortage that will last several years.....so I am hearing from the central planners in DC. I'd plan accordingly. It is an attack on independent ranchers that largely vote republican Vs feeder lots connected to the large scale union organized slaughter houses. All meat, chicken pork and beef though less so for chickens as the slaughter houses not typically union and the feeder houses are too numerous to effectively attack.

I'm in CT. You guys should consider yourselves lucky. I grew up in New Mexico, where hunting was big part of my childhood. I enlisted in the army and got married - my wife too was in the army (although, it's somewhat questionable. She was in JAG corp, so not really the army - officially she has a DD214, so I guess ...) Since we left the military, we haven't hunted and our camping adventures consist of dragging a bunch of stuff out to the campsite and setting the tent up about 10 feet from the truck... Strangely, since we use a tent, most of our friends think we're still hardcore. haha. Anyway, the way things are going, I decided to apply for my pistol permit and otherwise start "stocking-up" on "stuff". I don't think of myself as a prepper, yet.....

L60Boerne, can we caravan our Patrols down to your place and hunker down? do you have a bunker big enough for all of us?

I'd have to fight the coyotes for the occasional lawn bunny.

Ok :shifty: anyone that knocks SPAM hasn't eaten SPAM. It is one of the best foods on earth, especially fried on the trail on a cast iron skillet.

Honestly, for $2.99 a can you must fry it up and tell me what you think.

Oh there's not doubt that Spam is the nectar of the gods. But I still love me some free range venison and hog.

It is one of those funny foods that all my friends and wives think is junk food....until they try it. I've had a lot of fun getting my friends wives to eat it. Once they do they can't say anything bad...maybe nothing like it is the best thing ever ...but they can't think of anything bad to say either.

I'll try to upload a cast iron skillet full of it next to our patrol on that hunt a couple of months ago in W TX. Problem is I haven't hooked up my new phone to the forum yet. MaybeI can figure it out.
