Looking like that’s going to be the plan (4x2) with the rear end. Place in Baja is Loreto. We’ve changed our plans and the Patrol will remain here in the states as a weekend cruiser. Can you imagine needing a part for a 69 Patrol in Baja, B.C.S.. :0)

Ours will be more of a town car since there is only one paved road in town. We will be meeting friends in Loreto in May for a week or so.

I’m going to see the mechanic this week, make a list of things needed. If the axles are available and I need them i’ll be for sure to get back to you. If you still have them? Have no idea what the transmission condition is in but will find out.

We typically go every May and when I know when we will be there hopefully this May I’ll let you know. Maybe we can meet up, always good to have friends throughout Baja. We recently purchased a new Jeep Gladiator and that’s what will most likely end up in Loreto instead of the Patrol. Hope to take allot of unpaved roads once down there for longer periods of time not to mention the Panga I plan to be pulling around BCS.

It is the one that was in the field on the way out to the casino. My dad lives in Oroville and he’s a volunteer for the STARS program working with the Sheriff department. My girl and I have been looking for a land cruiser from that era My dad drives all over Butte County patrolling and doing checks on people's homes while they are away that live in the rural areas. He knew we were looking for a land cruiser and he had been driving by the field the Patrol was parked every week for years. He thought the whole time it was a land cruiser. It was a no trespass so he said if he ever saw someone out there he’d stop and ask about. Long story short two days later we owned Cheri.
