Yes indeed you are starting with a good one. Patrols are fun to find and fun to restore. My advice is try your hardest to have repairs made by someone who has done it before...even if you have to ship it off on a trailer...you will dollars ahead as every mechanic says they can fix them up but once they pull them apart they have big trouble which will cost you 2-3x what it should cost. To a mechanic they "look" simple, which is generally the case for an experienced Patrol mechanic, but they are not to the inexperienced.
