John,
I'm sure those engine mounts can be fixed.
Years ago, while still living in Ecuador, my wife overturned in a MQ wagon (Patrol 160 over there) and 3 of the engine bases broke. Similar engine, with the P40 inside. Could't find any spares, and a guy sent me to a local shop that among the things they did was repairing damaged engine mounts. They basically cast again the rubber. It's an artisanal process. The mounts looked and performed very good when the job was done. I kept that car for a few months after it.
The good thing about the Patrol is that the engine is naturally balanced, so the mounts don't do much work. I've seen Patrols run with a broken base for extended periods. The rear ones specially, are difficult to spot. I think there might be some guys out there that are doing this kind of repair. Too many antiques will need them.
