The Jeep also had oil, temp, volts, and fuel gauges they wont fit in the Patrol dash panel. I didnt want to put them in the dash area where the ash tray and map light are located, so i built a small box that will mount right above the transmission cover. This allows me to have room for an AC unit to mount between the gauge box and the dash. I angled the box so it will tilt up and towards the driver. I will post some more pics when i install it. I still need to clean up the holes with a dremel.

I was going to cut an inspection cove in the bed floor for the fuel sender access. Then i decided not to because i was sooooo burned out at the time from cutting and welding so much. My best friend Bo told me i needed to build this fuel pump access so i reluctantly did. Thank god i did, because i have already used it twice! :)

I bought some 4x4 traction mats (X bulls). I didnt want them to get stolen, so i cut and welded some locking hitch pins to some angle iron and then bolted it to my tool box. The locking pin fits perfectly through the holes in the mats. I also mounted my high lift jack. I was going to put it on the hood, but decided i want to leave the hood clutter free. The high lift jack was secured with a pad lock, but i also decided to cut and weld a hitch pin lock for it as well. You can see in the pics that the high lift jack foot plate is also mounted to the tool box with a bolt and wingnut, it cant be stolen unless the jack it out of the way. :D

Always great to see updates from the master fabricator!

Everything looks tops, Ron, and if as the location of each part was dedicated to them.
