I really like that color. I also like the AEV vehicle. I remember seeing the prototype for the Brute in Moab at the Easter Jeep Safari circa 2006? I am excited to see how your project turns out, I think it will be really neat!

Thanks for your input everyone. I really like this color as does my son, so we will be using this color. We are also going to camo wrap the bottom half. The jeep brute is a dream vehicle of mine, but at 40-50k i will build my own version. :D

Did some body work on a fender today. Its been years since i did body work, but im happy with how its turning out. I still need to take care of some dents on the top of the fender. Maybe i can do that tomorrow. Just got called to drive a train. :D

Excellent work Ron! I wish I could have a fraction of your skills with body work. The parts look really nice.

Picked out the cab, cut it, fixed some dents, and started to sand blast.

I'm tuned in now Ron and RonJr.
I dig the dusty sage and black decision too. Although it is tons of work it will be prouder than a 4x you can buy....or can't buy a$ well. :D
Good job....key in on Rawmis 64 Daily Driver build...he used a lot of everything but used jeep suspension or axels.....anyways maybe some ideas to work off of and good pics.

Its been a while, i had to take care of some honeydos. ;) and its cold out there! I just placed an order for a lot of metal. I ordered- Sheeting, tubular, and angle. It should be in sometime this next week. So i will start posting pics again as we get going. I cant wait. As long as i can fab the rear of the cab, the rest should be fairly straight forward. ;) :D

Here is an 8ft metal brake i just got so i could bend the bed side panels and tailgate sheeting. Im using 18 gauge sheet metal and 1x2x.120 for the side top rails. .065 (1/16") would have worked, but i chose the .120 (1/8") because it will add some weight to this bed and it wont dent as easily. :D
