Working many hours at my job so Patrol work has slowed. Pulled the firewall section off last weekend.

Pulled the engine and trans out yesterday. Everything looked ok except the throwout bearing. It is really tough to turn. Anyone know if or where you can get one? :?

Well I finally got back into the garage after a month of unbearable heat in CA. I wrestled out the front axel and leaf springs. :D

So I started sanding/wire wheeling the frame. I knew the left side "wing" was bent but when i turned the frame over I really noticed the plate under it was in bad shape too. I drilled out the welds, straightened the wing and plate and am now ready to weld it back on.

Nice work. You're going to be at this for a while if you go to that much detail. ;)
Beyond any hope for intervention
