Looks comfortable in it's natural surroundings. Well done. I can be so lucky (someday).

As it should be, it certainly looks like it belongs there. Congratulations and thanks for putting the effort in to resurrecting and now enjoying this Patrol.
Beyond any hope for intervention

Absolutely in it's natural element. Patrols were made for that country. Give me a call when you are in the area, we will try to get together for those axles.

A salute to all those who serve our country and protect our freedom.

The Patrol draws a crowd whenever parked here ..... one of the off road capitols of the USA, Lake City, CO which Jeeps everywhere.

Yesterday, while parked in front of the bakery a guy in a truck caught a glimpse of my 63 Patrol as he passed at 25 mph on the main drag. Upin spotting it he quickly cut his wheels, locked up his brakes and skidded to a stop in the gravel near the bakery.

He just stopped and stared out his open window through the dust. He pondered the rig for about a minute, then drove on.

Pics from 12,800 ft soon.

Patrolling with pleasure,

Trouble in Paradise,

Well, the Patrol was running so well, but rich, I decided to not put in the high altitude jet. Well, it ran great right up to the point it would not start, it smelled flooded but should not have been.

It turns over but no spark. I'm thinking the low altitude jet fouled the spark plugs. Well this is why I haven't gone too far yet. I'll have it checked out. I should have followed the procedure.

Patrolling when possible,

David, hope you are able to sort this problem over there. If the #127 jet was installed, you shouldn't have had this flooding problem. You'll run very rich, but fowling of the spark plugs should happen over a long time. Please check the jet since it's very easy to change from the outside.

It is not unusual for a little debris to mess the needle valve at the fuel bowl and cause flooding. Specially when you subject your car for some use after not being used for quite a while. If you experience another flooding, please also check the fuel level on the glass sight to rule out that fuel is going non stop inside the bowl.

Thank you Esteban, The fuel level in the sight glass seems correct. It almost seems like a loose wire somewhere. It stopped in front of the local hardware store this morning. I had a 66 Bronco on my right and a 71 Chevy on my left. Each driver a shade tree mechanic. No look, no spark. We tried to let it dry out and tried a start with the pedal floored. No spark under any condition. Same after three hour rest. But up until that point it ran perfect.

I have called the local garage to pick it up. He said it was very uncommon to need to change out the Jet. It still have whatever Jet was installed in Boerne. Like I said it ran very well with that Jet. I gave him your #127 jet and instructions from the forum, he thought it was something other than fouled plugs. He will report back this evening.

More to follow,

Greetings,

It turns out the Igniter II electronic ignition. Is there a test procedure for the Igniter. The coil is fine.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,
