There is a light colored adapter between Ford motor and stock tranny & I think clutch plate isn't flush. Acceleration isn't matching motors performance.
Any company names that make the adapter?
Have some tranny chatter backing up (sometimes), this weekend crawling under to see if mounts loose.

It must be a custom job. There's no company that ever made any adapters for the G60 tranny to mount to different engines.

That is incorrect. At least in australia.
Both dellows and castlemaine rod shop made adaptors from 3spd crash box, 4speed mq patrol and 5speed mq/mk patrol gearboxes to suit the ford 3.3L (200Ci?) And 4.1 (250ci) pre cross flow and cross flow engines.
Edited to add they also did the same to suit our Aussie holden v8s. 253 and 308 motors....But I have seen a chev350 dropped onto the same....

We found the adapter plate wasn’t tightened up. Also the clutch plate assembly is going into my buddies shop. That will stop the chattering when clutch pedal is released.
