What is this Phoenix Patrol you speak of? Is it from Phoenix or did it rise from the ashes of a long dead Patrol?

The same old question. What year is it? The gauge cluster changed a little over the years. I may have everything you need.
Beyond any hope for intervention

Greetings, the build is slowly moving with recored radiator and new custom fuel tank.

Speaking of the fuel tank. Phoenix Patrol will have the OEM fuel pipe. I need a gas cap. What other type or brand fits the OEM pipe?

Thanks in advance,

Greetings,
Just a few pictures as the refurbishment begins. First, fuel and water lines. Then Rob Moore's Petronix upgrade, then alternator conversion..then ...then...then.

Paul,
Good morning. I sourced mine from Anpira83 from Columbia from ebaymotors. Actually I bought his last two. But that is not necessary. It would have been cheaper to just send them to Then and Now Auto, 447 Waymouth, MA 02188. PH 781-335-8860.

They are apparently easy to rebuild if you are a mechanic.

They have rebuilt several for me already.

Thanks David. I've been in contact with Then and Now (and found out they don't have kits for the Patrol pump but do rebuild them), and have a spare core (with the priming lever) that I'll be sending them. I've used their kits a bunch of times on my Studebakers, but have never sent them a pump to rebuild.

You can source a new pump. It won't have the priming lever, but it will be the same brand. For me, a much better option. The pumps are the same for the P & P40 engine, both used in forklifts.

Greetings to Patrol Whisperers Worldwide,

The mechanical portion of the Phoenix Patrol recovery is moving along nicely. Pictures to be uploaded once I can sneak away to Eddy the Eagle's clandestine workshop.

To Date:
- Re-core of radiator
- New custom fuel tank
- Rob Moore Petronix ignition upgrade
- New hoses
- Replacement water thermostat and housing
- Rebuilt fuel pump and lines
- Rebuilt Rochester Carb
- Reestablishment of correct air filter and housing

Long way to go mechanically but parts are on the floor ready to go:
- New alternator
- New wheel cylinders
- Valve Tune Up
- Wiper motors overhaul
- Replacement of lost grill

Then we get into the other things:
- Re-connection of map light
- Re-connection of correct choke and knob
- Aux LED lights

Patrolling in circles,

Greetings,
Eddy the Eagle has been busy in his hilltop Indian Point lair. Though these pictures don't do his work justice I can report:
- rebuilt starter
- rebuilt Rochester carb
- rebuilt fuel pump
- reinstalled and new core radiator and hoses
- Petronix electronic starter
- custom new fuel tank in OEM skid plate

Motor is best of my four, very smooth, no smoke.

Next will be alternator exchange, new brake system

Then some paint and body work.

Phoenix Patrol will be a soft top so if anyone needs a good hard top please let me know..storage will not be kind to this top as I have no dry place to store it.

Patrolling with your parts,
L60Boerne

What' with the blue tube. It looks like it is sucking unfiltered air into the carb?

In the end...does any of it matter? However, since you don't have a waterproof distributor, block those things off.
