Plateaucal and RiverPatrol,

Does that mean the one You gave me will work on the late 66 gauge cluster I received from RiverPatrol?

I'm in the Costa Rican highlands...saw this today

Then it does for all of them '67 and later.

Costa Rico is a pristine country. Like Switzerland was 20 years ago. Perfect roads, absolutely no trash on the roads and wonderfully welcoming people.

This is the jewel of the Western Hemisphere.

I'll be back since so many other countries have failed to protect their culture and natural places. We will be swimming beneath a 220' spring fed waterfall.

More to follow,

Plateaucal,
Your fuel gauge will be delivered to Eddy's Indian Point lair Monday. That part is very much appreciated.

I very much look forward to see you next month and we will take both Patrols into the mud and snow then sooth our souls on the back patio.

Heck, I may drag Phoenix Patrol up for a proper field test!

Patrolling with your parts,

Well, we canceled our fishing trip to St. Augustine, so our fun will be oriented around here for a while. Get your Patrol equipped and you can follow us out to Utah from some interesting cultural experiences. We will be camping out by Bluff, Utah instead of going to Florida. There a couple of petroglyph panels I need to see in person. I know of a canyon that is off the maps that is full of cliff dwellings that I might revisit. Then we might head up to the Green River and drop a line and see what we can reel in. See you soon.

Really, any time. We may make a spring break trip out of it this month. But I honestly I could spend a year wandering around Utah, so if you ever get a "wild hair", let me know.

BTW, I did check my Chilton's wiring diagram. It shows a Yellow/Red wire feeding both the fuel gauge and temp. gauge from the gauge regulator. Then there is a single yellow wire coming from the tank sender. Then there is a ground wire coming from the other side of the tank sender. The book was published in 1972, so maybe it is only applicable to the 69 which is when there were big changes to the vehicle, especially the wiring.

No need to pass it along to Eddy, it doesn't apply to your '66. It will simply add confusion.

Yep, who would not want something like that. Interior was definitely a stock leather Toyota interior.

Left hand drive too!
