Couldn't believe it!!!!

Builds, refurbishments, restorations, upgrades

After several years of owning my 1964 Patrol I took a Sunday with one of my customers who is more mechanically inclined than me. We worked on it and got it running. I couldn't believe it. We changed the oil and filter and wired up a new ignition switch. The only problem was the oil slick in the garage from draining the old oil. My catch can wasn't able to keep up with the flow. I have been so busy working and doing family stuff I finally was able to take some time. Was such a fun day.I literally felt like Clark Griswold getting the Christmas lights working. We are going to install new carb next Sunday and do some other stuff. I am so thankful to have a mentor to help me. Glad I stockpiled some parts beforehand.

We were both in shock it cranked up with no smoke or anything. Kids were all excited. Just a cool sight seeing a 59 year old vehicle come alive. :o
