Looks like somebody capped the old style breather tube with that gizmo.

In older Patrols or in regions without emissions requirements, a chimney pipe coming out from that hole in the block allowed the crankcase fumes to vent freely.

Guess I'll open it up and see if it is a pcv device.

Body to frame bushings... two steal plates or one? Pretty sure I have seen both while talking apart.

One per body mount- Rubber against frame, then shim between rubber and body

Thank you sir, going to make some new shims, does it make more sense to put shim in middle? Metal on metal isn’t some thing im use to

you mean like using thinner rubber, and sandwiching the shim between two rubber pieces per mount?

I think either approach would work fine, and if you are cool with the extra effort, then go for it :handgestures-thumbup:

I certainly can't see how it would hurt

Looked around but didn't find the answer so.....

Anyone have a replacement source or the size and thread count for the grease zirks on the drive shafts?

The piece on the left is, I don't recognize the other piece. The one on the left is the muffler shield for the side step on the passenger side, so your passenger doesn't stick their foot into the hot muffler as they're stepping in.

The piece on the right looks like the passenger side lower inner skirt for an early (pre 68) style fender...
