Fantastic job Marco. This is a "must have" for everyone.
For some of the members that might not be familiar with layers in a pdf document, once you download this new electric diagram from Marco, you'll see on the left side of the pdf program that you are using (Adobe, Foxit Reader) that "Layers" are shown. You can click each one of them to make them disappear or appear at will. As an example shown below, I've made Layers B, C, F, H, IG invisible. This is a very valuable tool to work only on the systems that are crucial to you at that time.
Explanation electrical diagram Marco.JPG
From what I can see Marco has done, the following layers are in the document. Letters correspond also to the fuse block terminals in his diagram.
O ---------> Label, all text, and components drawing
AI --------> AI terminal at fuse box (upper side) Alternator and switch
B ---------> Battery (+) side wiring
C ---------> Dash lamp
F ---------> All circuits attached to F terminal at fuse box. Flasher, Turn signals
H ---------> All circuits attached to H terminal. Horn and brake lights
IG --------> IG terminal circuits at fuse box (upper side). Coil and plugs
L ---------> All circuits connected to L terminal at fuse box. Lamps, Instruments, Headlamps, Tail, Park.
MASA ----> All ground connections
T ---------> All circuits attached to T terminal at fuse box. Marker lights
W --------> All circuits attached to W terminal. Wipers.[/list]
Please note that this diagram has some differences with the USA Patrols. The combination lamps at the back are following the European and Australian standards. Also, the wiper motors correspond to the two-speed single motor type.
I guess that we can ask Marco to do a modified version of this diagram for use in the USA Patrols.
