Carpet Floor Mats

Got rust? Seats, panels, doors, windows, etc. The old messages from the NPCA 'Body & Interior' category are here.

Hi all-
For the last 6 weeks or so, I've been working with my upholstery guy to make some really nice carpet floor mats. I made all the templates and he cut and bound them. They're a really nice marine grade carpet that is 1/2" thick. They are made to get wet or dirty and hosed down. The backs have rubber ribs to keep them from moving, but they are locked in so tight I don't think they could move anyway.

The minimum purchase size for the carpet was able to make 2 full sets of mats. So, I have a set to sell if anyone is interested. After purchasing the carpet, it was just a little more labor and I figured someone may want to split the cost with me. The price for my second set is $700 plus shipping which is pretty inexpensive for the quality. These really finish off the interior.

If enough people are interested, I can get more made as well. They aren't as cheap as the vinyl mat for sale recently, sorry to say. I have nothing bad to say about those and the quality looks nice also.

Send me a message if you're interested.

Thanks! It turned out more of a custom carpet kit rather than mats.

Good work, thanks for putting in the hard work to create these. I can't recall the price but I'm betting they are reasonable. I'll take a set.

David- I know you have a ton going on in your life, and I’m not in a big hurry, but are you still interested in the carpet set? I sent you a couple messages but I haven’t heard anything.

Again, no hurry, just let me know.

Thanks!

CBlake - that looks like great work. I will take a set too, if you are going to put in another order. Or if L60Boerne is no longer interested, sign me up for the first set. For the shipping cost, I am in Orinda, CA.
My dog is sick of sliding around in the back, and the Duck Dynasty floor mats the P.O. put in the front have a certain charm, but not the charm I’m looking for.

Other than wheelbase, is there anything that would affect the fit of the carpet? Model year?

Thanks.

I have heard back from David and he’s backed out. It’s understandable and there are no hard feelings.

So.... They’re yours! Send me a PM with your address and I’ll get shipping quotes.

I can’t think of anything different besides possibly the location for the gas pedal bolts and the high beam switch. The upholsterer left those for me to do, so I can either cut them in like mine, or leave that for you. I have a grommet to go around the switch for a finished look. The hole is pretty easy to cut. Just put some chalk or grease on top of the switch and press the carpet on to it being careful not to move it too much. Cut that area out smaller and keep trimming until it pokes through.

Thanks sir!
