Clutch servo, anyone using one??

Upgrades, downgrades, modernizations, alterations or just being creative.

Long time no post...see here mounted mid firewall a clutch servo.
The thing certainly works well but I'm thinking it overworks the original slave cylinder.
My cylinder wall is not perfect but I'm going through seals every 10 hours of use!
I'm sure a new slave cylinder would help (are they available?) but I'm just wondering if the conversion is common?
I don't see any mention on the forums so I'm guessing not.
The installation does not look 1975 but it has been done very nicely with new 3 pipe clamps replacing the original 2, it looks like it grew there.

I'm no aware of any other Patrol having that clutch servo. I recall a loose conversation happening regarding the possibility specially with a similar setup than the one you have, since an indirect type servo (Bendix Hydrovac type) can be located anywhere.

The use of a cluth servo is rare enough. I think Patrols from the 90s came with it, with a small one behind the master cluth cylinder.

I never thought about the additional pressure in the system, but maybe is too much. Hope you find a brand new one and give it another try.

Please post a closeup picture of the servo.
