Headlight upgrades

Upgrades, downgrades, modernizations, alterations or just being creative.

Hi everyrone,
All of the light assemblies for the Minion missile have been taken apart and sent to the plater. Looking forward to getting them back. One thing I want to explore is upgraded headlights. I am hoping to do somehow increase night time visibility without modifying the look of the Patrol. Does anyone have any experience (good or bad) that they'd be willing to share? Would like to have a new set of headlights in the build pile for when the bezels and buckets come back from being plated.

I used Dapper Lighting on another project. Easy to install and super bright HID lights made driving at night much better.

great. Thanks for the recommendation. Will post the results on the Minion Missile thread. They look like they're going to be great.

Got any night time pics? I'm curious if they are really bright.

I don't. It was a project car for another person that I was working on. But, they are really bright and modern looking. I have no doubts you'll be impressed.

I ordered these a few weeks ago (when I created the post) and they're still not delivered. Not in a big hurry though, it will take the plater a few more weeks before the headlight buckets and hardware is ready, so they would just be sitting on the shelf anyway. As soon as they get in, I will update my build thread .

Now that you say that, I remember it took mine a while to come in as well. Like you, I had ordered them early and wasn’t in a hurry.
