I'm already shopping for an inflatable raft large enough to float an 1800 kilo 4-wheeler that I can tow behind my fishing boat.

If I leave next weekend, I might just make it there before June 2016

Sounds great!

I think Altona Melbourne sounds good for the minute. Until I get a bit more confident in the old G60,s reliability....lol

Would like to get together with local members near my location...

Tim how did you get your club reg. I managed to get full reg but a lot of money for a few trips every now and then

Stew...

Capeyork seems to be a great idea, great pubs, challenging 4wding as far as your willing to go,beautiful.
Simpson desert into the flinders ranges, painted desert, cooperpeddy which we missed last trip
Tasmania as beautiful as it is more a touring trip with family.

Cape York is the top choice for me with all the goodies a blokes trip is about
Count me in miller
Better start saving for that diamond ring to compensate for the trip lol

The Cape is a BIG trip. Would need more than 3 weeks to do it properly.

Tassie is as hard as you want it to be. Some of the most hardcore wettest tracks I've done were in Tassie, far from a family touring trip if you want it to be

Another option might be to do an outback pub crawl through nsw and Qld.

Or to do the "corners" on the east.
