Last weekend was the 12th annual JCCS event. It keeps getting bigger and better every year. The last two years Nissan has finally made a corporate appearance at the show, and it was quite impressive. This year they displayed Lou Bircheff's 1969 barn-find Patrol next to a 2017 Armada. The Armada is now based on the global Patrol platform, no longer the Titan. This was to display the Old vs New, Nissan DNA. Lou's Patrol also won Japanese Nostalgic Car's Preservation award at the previous Nissan Jam, a very prestigious award. I have to admit that I am envious, but this Patrol certainly deserves the respect.
Nissan also chose this event to debut the 2017 $175,000 600 horsepower GT-R NISMO, something that is normally saved for major International car shows like Detroit or New York.
