Lake City Patrol meeting. The monthly Patrol owners association met at Lake City today. Only two of us made it, but I got drive two cool Patrols up into the mountains. That and a little whiskey, some great views from the back yard and good company made for a wonderful day. If you haven't driven a naked Patrol (top off, windows down), well you should. Thank you L60Boerne.

Greetings Patrollees.

Plateaucal and I had a great time yesterday and sure hope more of you can join us in the future. We talked about everything and exchanged some books. After more a few sips of Kentucky's nectar we drove both Patrols.

After the second little hill climb we popped the hood on the white Patrol, which sports many critical parts from his donor, and I took him through a tour of all the parts I have added from all of you with all your help.

As I lifted the hood he had the nerve to tell me, in my our county, that I wasn't a good mechanic and needed a full time support team. At that I felt obliged to take him on a tour of all those things under the hood. I pointed out the air muffler that connects the choke and puke that has been rebuilt five or six times then I regaled him an inspection of the 6 piano keys that plug into the boiler. He looked down there and said he rebuilt a fuel pump just last week but I didn't tell him I didn't know where he was looking but I nodded like I did. He was kind enough to acknowledge my expertise and said he would be "on permanent call", just in case I might need it.

With my case proven we closed the hood and glided back down the hill for more great stories and conversations from our backyard.

I can't wait till we get together again and make some more memories. I sure hope we can do some planning for next summer and have a bigger Colorado Patrol Convention and convoy.

Patrolling with friends,
L60Boerne

Sounds like a good time. I'm a bit jealous.

Greetings Patrollers Worldwide,

Just an update to remind you Patrols are not just for summer.

After tunnelling/Shovelling 3' of snow up to the barn we got Presidio Patrol out for some winter fun.

Patrolling motivates me to live the rigorous life (TR) while keeping the black dog at Bay (WC). Thank you all for your
help.

Making Patrols Great Again,
L60Boerne

And no heater to boot. You are indeed the pioneer.

Patrols love snow. 8-) :occasion-snowman:

Awesome. We were looking at photos from Durango yesterday. My family is trying to get us to move up that direction. I told them I would not be able to get out of the house. But, truth be known, I'd probably be right there beside you! That neck of the woods is so beautiful!
End of last year I tried to get my wife to plan a trip for this month, but she never committed. I told her we need to see what winter is like before we commit to move. She missed a good opportunity.
