There aren't any restrictions on editing or deleting your own posts. The only requirement is that you have to be logged in. If you're not logged in the buttons won't be there.

not trying to skirt the rules but i have seen other forums let a guy post something that would be pushing the rules by putting NOT APPROPRIATE FOR WORK in the title of the thread/ thus warning everyone that your boss and wife or kids shouldn't see it and i don't care either way just throwing it out

No reason for inappropriate material here in my opinion. The site always seems to be mostly "family" oriented and much appreciated that way...If my grandkids can see it here, then it should be all be kid sensitive..... my two cents worth....
