Hi everyone
I haven't forgotten about this - I am working through them now.
I was delayed a bit by a work trip last week.
I've got some questions for your faux40:
Transmission Side Cover Gasket
On the lower part of the outside right edge of the scan (just before the bottom rounded corner), there is a wobble in the gasket - I'm guessing it is supposed to be straight?
Transfer Case Small Top Cover Gasket
It seems like the holes aren't symmetric from the left side to the right side.
It seems like the left side holes are set in further from the outer edge than they are on the right side.
To me this is most visible with the bottom left hole which appears to be set in much more than its right side counterpart.
Is the gasket symmetric or not?
Timing Gear Case Gasket
On the left hand side of the scan, are the two vertical edges meant to line up? Or is there an offset in the part?
Transmission Input Shaft Seal Cover Gasket
It would seem like the two main round openings in the center of the gasket should be perfectly circular, but they are not.
Maybe this is just a function of the scan?
Finally could you please take a caliper to the different sized bolt holes and send me the dims to make sure I have those right ?
Thank you !!
