All Rubber Window & weather seals Patrol 60 60-70

Original and compatible parts

Postby moore_rb » Sun May 17, 2015 5:55 pm

Mike-

Are your parts listed on Ebay? If so, then we need to work on your search terms - I can not find your parts on Ebay to save my life... :?:

They aren't listed in:

eBay Motors > Parts & Accessories > Car & Truck Parts > Exterior > Mouldings & Trim

If I didn't know about your website, I'd never find your parts. :?

and, you'll be getting more orders from me, but not until I get further along in my projects - I'm just not at a point where I need many rubber parts right now, but I will be soon..

Hey Mike, needing stuff, lot's of it. Haven't heard much from you in awhile.

If you are out of it, I would like my stuff back so I can pursue other options. Thanks a bunch for what you have done so far! Only 2616 Patrols ever sold in N. America though, not sure how fast you thought items were going to sell? If you look around the "projects" area of this forum you will see lot's of people in various stages of restorations and rebuilds. Rubber is kind of at the end of a build, right? Bet almost nobody in Australia knows you have this stuff, or in Colombia. Facebook has good active pages in both countries. Patrol4x4 is another good location as well as Ratsun or other Datsun specific forums. Craigslist sure would't hurt either.

Cheers

Ive tried getting on your website several times to purchase some rubber items, and i can not find any Patrol stuff. I need quite a bit of rubber i was going to make a fairly large purchase sometime in July after vacation. Really bummed out to hear you are stopping production. If i didn't see your posts about it here, i would never have known that you made stuff for Patrols. I have also looked on ebay for your stuff and have not found anything. If you're only doing this for the US Patrollers you're not going to recoup your money, just not enough of them to need to purchase a lot of rubber, especially within the first 6months -year that you have offered this. But if you advertise abroad i think people will catch on and your Patrol stuff will eventually take off. I NEED STUFF, but when I've had the money to purchase, i cannot find your Patrol product. I can see that you make top notch stuff, and very much appreciate your efforts to help us out. I really hope you don't give up, PLEASE give it some more time and do a little more advertising. Word of mouth works, but it takes a lot of time. Thanks Ron

If you go to his website, just click on "Datsun Patrol 60". Here is the link to the page of Patrol items.

http://www.datsunlandsocal.com/mm5/merc ... atherSeals

Here are his items on eBay.

http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_from=R4 ... l&_sacat=0

Unfortunately I'm not ready to but any rubber bits at this point either, which doesn't help his situation. I would like the holders for the hand crank though as the ones now no longer hold it in place. I had to take the hand crank out because every time I took off from a stop it would fall and spook the dog!!

Hope the above links help!!

At the bottom of one of the auctions it says, "Will have 30 more different Nissan Patrol 60 Rubber Parts 1960-70 in 4-6 weeks".

It would be a shame to see this not happen. :(

I just spoke with Mike, WOW what a nice guy. He is going to give it another chance. PLEASE if youre even somewhat close to needing the weatherstrip and you can handle it right now give him a call with your orders. Im going to make a large purchase from him in July. Thats just as soon as i can do it. He really has taken a lot of time and expense for us and needs to recoup some of that cost, lets show him that we appreciate it. :D
