1967 Family Patrol Project

Builds, refurbishments, restorations, upgrades

I loved that movie! Part of it was filmed in the city I grew up and lived in at the time. I can blame that movie for my passion for cars. I still have a poster of a Countach Lamborghini. :D
Beyond any hope for intervention

Yeah, DHL rocks it...

My Marks5 left Tim's old house on the Friday before Labor Day weekend, and arrived at my house the Tuesday right after Labor Day.

Lookie, lookie! Our Marks is on US Soil and has cleared customs! The exact language is "Shipment has been given a release by Customs." with a stern warning of "Unless there is an adhoc exam or a stop by another regulatory authority the shipment will proceed to delivery"

Tomorrow appears to be the day!

As in today! ;-) It's lucky Friday the 13th! After the luxurious flight with the meal and movie, the poor Marks was forced to wait in the long line at customs. The was packed like sardines for hours and hours up Highway 5. They did make a stop in San Francisco today at 5am... Only 100 miles remain of the 7989.12 mile long journey (well, as the really fit crow flies).

IT'S HERE!

Just a thought, but DHL really oughta train their employees on good lifting techniques... Or suffer big worker's comp claims!

This may be a dumb question, but shouldn't we orient the box with the arrow pointing down up here in the Northern Hemisphere? After all, the box had the arrow written on it while it was still "Down Under!" ;-)

Looks good in my yard! Looks the it's time on the road wasn't too bad. The custom made case weathered the trip well!

Of course, we're waiting to open it until the whole Family Patrol can help. It's pretty heavy, so there must be lots of goodies in it! Of course, I'll post pictures of the unboxing!

By the way, thanks Tim!
