Spent a little time in the garage today on the starter. Made a new cable as the cloth one was cracked and frayed. I was able to use the original cable ends by bending the tabs open then re crimping them on the new cable. Also got a nice repro Patrol badge for Christmas. :occasion-xmas:

Hey you probably know but those engine mounts are going to be metric thread while your old ones will be SAE. So make sure and buy new metric bolts before install.

Cheers

That's what Tap and Dies are for... No US-Market Patrol should ever have a metric bolt anywhere on it... That's sacrilegious.

I mean what's next? Speed limit signs in Km/H...?

{Yeah, ok, maybe I'm over-reacting.... They are just bolts. :occasion-unclesam: }
