Dash Vent Spings

Got rust? Seats, panels, doors, windows, etc. The old messages from the NPCA 'Body & Interior' category are here.

Thank you, i will cover any shortfall, so if ten sets are required, please place that order for ten sets. i guess i would like to know what you expect they would cost per set and when we can expect a delivery. i have found with Anspira, the ebay seller from Colombia, that DHL delivery is about 5 days and not too much, especially for the lightweight of a spring set. Have an incredible announcement to make. Member rrodriguezsal wrote an email this morning telling me that he has ordered 40 springs total made (20 lefts and 20 rights) So those are good for 10 vehicles with 2 vents each.

He has decided to give them for free to the members of 60Patrol, as a way of giving thanks for this wonderful site.
One of his buddies is going to ship the springs to my house by the end of the week (Raul is in Brazil at the moment). I will then forward in sets to the members that have already requested them.

I'm guessing that the springs are the same for the 2-vent type or the 3-vent type windshields. Haven't been able to figure out. Just for fun, these are the part numbers according to a 71 Parts Manual. Other manuals don't have them:
72767-44001 RH springs
72768-44001 LH springs

The springs will last a long time, so please try not to be hoarders at this time (who isn't one  ) and give some others in need a chance. RiverPatrol has not mention anything, so I'm putting one set for each windshield type. I know L60Boerne wanted to have more sets, and Zed wanted 2 sets. I will check the real condition of mines today, and maybe I can spare some of mine.

So far, I have the following members and quantities (please correct me if I'm wrong):

Member2-Vent Sets3-Vent SetsTotal Springs
L60Boerne212
Zed14
Mattbob5314
RiverPatrol1110
Esteban16
Total36

Since some members use Tapatalk, I just noticed that the table doesn't show there, so the list will be:

L60Boerne - 2 sets for the 3-vent
Zed: 1 set for the 2-vent
Mattbob53: 1 set for the 2-vent
RiverPatrol: 1 set of the 2-vent, 1 set for the 3-vent
Esteban: 1 set for the 3-vent
TOTAL # of springs: 36

Thanks a lot Raul (rrodriguezsal) Very kind of you!

I know there is postage/shipping costs that I want to pay. Please let me know the amount and recipient of these funds.

Thank you all for making the effort.

Wow, I am so thankful. I certainly do not want more than I need. I need one full set, which is six springs, in my case. Then I need only two for my second patrol.
Therefore, that is four of each type.
Please let me know how I am help and pay.
Thank you both.

Very cool, thank you rrodriguezsal. My springs are in ok shape so I would pass if someone has a need for a set right now. If not I would also like to pay for shipping.

To the members that requested, please send me a PM with your address so I can send you the individual package. I will check tomorrow at options with the Post Office.

Not to worry! Most of us are using them as spares for some broken ones, or as stock for later use.

Thanks again Raul.
