I bought it. I PM him and got it off line that's why he took the post off last night. If you run across any others let me know. Thanks again

Good for you Chester, I sure hope it was honestly advertised and I sure wish I could have put in a bid too. It seems to need brakes. If you get stuck on the Brake Master Cylinder there is a shop called Then and Now that can fix it at 781-335-8860, that was one of my greatest frustrations.

Show us some pictures when you get the chance.

Patrolling when possible,

will do, It's very clean, I'm robbing some of the spare parts from my 69 that I now have laying around to get it road worthy. This one will stay original because of the shape it's in. No rust, just some dents.

The good ole Patrol out climbing dunes at silver lake. It was nice being the only Patrol at the dunes.

Your going to be the only Patrol all the time. Looks like it had no problem climbing that dune.

Awesome! I’ve considered 350 instead of rebuilding mine. Just a battle of what direction to go.

If you go with the 350 it fits perfect. No hacking up the fire walls. I also went with 400r tranny for the overdrive and it cruises down the highway @ 75 no problems plus parts are much cheaper. One other thing I did was put Jeep axles under YJ axles under it so I could just shift into 4wd from inside no lockouts. They are only about 3/4 wider so they look normal and again they are cheap and available. I have tons of pictures if you need anymore information.

Hi chester3,
Great looking - and sounding - Patrol, thanks for sharing!
If you don't mind me asking, what transfer case are you using and how does it mate up mechanically with the GM auto ? I've always wondered about that aspect of any engine/trans swap...
Also, what carb are you running please?
Cheers,
D
