Just a few more from Americana. Thank you to all our veterans and those who serve us in so many ways.

We stopped counting after a dozen groups asked what we were driving. Had six guys with big smiles saying they knew very well what we driving.

The good news is that we never saw the black dog. The bad news is we got cold and had to return to the low country. Another day on the Alpine Loop.

Love that part of America! My goal was the Alpine Loop this year, but plans changed. We ran Imogene and Ophir instead, but it is still on my bucket list. Just won't be in the Patrol
