If you move out there, you WILL need a Patrol. ;)

I know. I really don't want to get rid of either of them. My thoughts turn to the plow, who has it, and is it being used!
I do not believe either of mine is worthy of a total restoration, so my desire is 4Bt with auto and Atlas II, if it would fit lengthwise. The auto tranny has me concerned for length. If I retired up there, I'd be out plowing everybody's drive!

Mike, I have news for you, Ral in AZ has a plow. Ready to go!

Yuke...those are BFG Mud Terrains which require a 2" lift. My lift goodies came from RAL in AZ. He can make anything and it is top quality as everyone knows.

Greetings from 12,000ft again. Still not sure about my Patrols because I'm confident of my control of the controls in the really tedious conditions between 11,000-13,000.

Just a pic of fresh air and cold summer temps.

Spectacular view. Still not sure about your Patrols? It seems you've got the kinks worked out finally.

It is me. I'm afraid I'll miss a gear or stall it up in the midst of some of the tedious stuff and cause a problem for others. With time I'll figure it out.

Yesterday I was in town in the white Patrol. An engineer from CA was there with his new Patriot off road trailer. It was first class, all the way. We talked about his trailer, but he took pictures of the old Patrol.

Then I stopped into the grocery story and got bull rushed by a crazed off road enthusiast from Oklahoma. He said he was really wanted an old restored Land Rover.....but my Patrol was "cool".

I got away from him before my chocolate milk got hot.

Still Patrolling,

I find that's part of the excitement. Anyone can drive a brand new fully locked, lifted, power steering and A/C equipped 4X4 up the trail. But to drive a 50 year old basic utilitarian vehicle up those same trails is something only the brave will do. I stall in the midst of the tedious stuff, then it's a real challenge to get yourself out of that predicament. For me, that's far more exciting than what they are doing.

Greetings from Lake City, CO.

It is fall. On our way up to the snow which is about 1,000 ft above our cabin.

Patrolling to fresh powder,

Back from almost the mountain top. I have no new stone tablets to share with the world as my wife assumed a fetal position in the floorboard and began throwing spare parts when words were not working.

I executed a perfect 180 reverse on a overly narrow snow covered acute angled mountain trail less than
500' from treeline and a view that would stop a mule.

If you look closely you can see my tail tucked between my leaf springs. Patrol performed flawlessly.

Patrolling to the pasture below,
