I fitted one grease seal today. I'll do the other one tomorrow.
It was a fairly simple task. It took less than an hour. There was no need to dismantle the hub. I cut the new grease seal and placed the cut at the top.
The old grease seal was split. It had two very short pins joining the split. I tried reusing them but to no avail. The old one didn't have a metal ring at all.
So in fitting the new one I needed to refer to several manuals before I worked out which way the went together.
The metal ring gets fitted first, followed by the grease seal.

The metal ring got a little distorted working it into place. The grease seal was easy.
I then put the seal retainer and 6 or seven bolts on and tightened them up slowly and in turn so the seal would seat correctly.
Hopefully no more grease leaks!
