How funny to run across your intro thread ... I drooled a bunch over that CL ad when it was up; and seriously kicked myself when it was taken down, for not jumping on it myself. I think you made a great buy & congrats on doing it!

Hope it brings you many years of happy exploring & tinkering ...

Well, the body work and paint are officially in process! Going with that new Toyota Cement (glossy primer grey with a bit of metallic). Found a great restoration shop that does a lot of classic Broncos and Scouts to work on it. I had to have new hinge pins made for the doors which were ridiculously expensive but I needed them. I ordered new windshield rubber and have the guy who deals the lights and rubber out of Colombia looking into whatever else he can get down there. Ordered a full seal set for an FJ40 Top in the hopes it can be modified to work with my top. They seem to be constructed very similarly. I’ll post photos soon!!

Well done, another Nissan Ninja is released to the Patrol universe. If I had skill, expertise, enginuiity, IQ, a good back, fingers that went where I wanted, two good eyes...
I could do that.

Congratulations,
