Does anybody have the dimensions of the glass for the front doors? Looks like I will need to have some fabricated.

They are screwed in the manifold. Might require some days of penetrating oil to get them out. You can try putting 2 nuts on each of them, and tighten the nuts together. Hopefully you'll be able to use a wrench and get the studs out.

What are you using for the small round hole in the trans tunnel? Also for the twin stick boot?

What thickness (gauge) is the sheet metal in the body of the Patrol?

I'm trying to buy some sheet metal pieces of the same gauge to start practicing with the MIG welder.

Thanks.

If I remember correctly, I used 18 gauge on mine. Based upon measurement with a micrometer.

Thanks a lot. Great help. I’m going to fix a bad rust problem in the rear quarter panel, but first I have to practice a lot with my MIG welder.

The hardware store only had 22 and 16 gauge. Will practice on both.

Disconnected at distributor and hose blocked...or pinched closed while connected.

You're setting "static" advance and don't want vacuum or mechanical advance fudging the setting. There shouldn't be any mechanical advance at idle but there will be vacuum advance if you don't disable it. If you don't block the hose the idle will be higher and may hunt as the manifold vacuum will suck in extra air and lean out the fuel mixture.

Cheers,
