I’ve got one I could part with in Tulsa if you can’t find one closer.

Do you have the late or early 69? The late (true) 69 has a different mount for the lower side, although you could just use a shim there if you are not a purist.

I am not a purist and am unsure if I have a late or early 69.

I'm happy to ship if needed.

The difference that Plateaucal refers in this case, is that the rear panels on the late 69 have a recessed portion (where the license plate will go and matching on the other side). Older models have a complete flat panel. Because of this recessed indentation, the lower mount of the tire carrier is longer on the 69 than in the older models.

Looking at the pictures of yours ("Mad plaid"), yours is a late 69 with the indented panels in the back.

Thanks all! I do have indented rear panels on my 69.

I'm hoping someone has replaced their tub and has the brackets to mount the spare tire carrier,
