If my hunch is right then a 240/260/280Z, 280C, or 160 series MQ/MK Patrol might be a donor, and perhaps even a 510/610/710/810/910 4 cylinder Nissan/Datsun...
Apologies if that lead is a dead end but my electronic ignition kit fits both my L20B and P motors just by changing the chopper wheel from the 4 to 6 slot version in tbe kit...

I'm sure this will work if you were able to find them, and then, they probably would want a high price for it, since it's for a Z-car! The fastest solution will be to get a new complete distributor from one of the forklift parts stores. I saved this link in my notes, and it costs $103:
http://www.helmarparts.com/product_p/22100-C7000.htmAt least a couple of members here have installed this distributor. I will go this route. The distributor in your client's Patrol probably shows some play in it. There are internal bushings difficult to get. Also, the base where the points are attached rotates over another plate with 3 minute ball bearings in between that over time create a gouge in the plate making the movement very hard. The vacuum advance is the one that actuates and moves the points base over this other plate.
Even Amazon carries this distributor, but at a higher price.
Good luck
