No second battery yet, but i will be adding one. Probably what i will do is add a heavy duty Ford style relay. I will wire it so the Winch battery will be isolated from the main battery while key is off. When key is on the relay will energize and both batteries will be connected and charged by the alternator. With this setup, if i have a draw for some reason draining my main battery (over night, etc.), i will be able to flip a toggle and add the isolated winch battery to start the truck. :D
I did this setup years ago on my Bronco, never left me stranded with a dead battery. Always had a backup! :D

River Patrol, I know this truck is only maybe 1/3 Patrol, but can it be added to the registry?
The title actually says 1965 Pickup :D

Sure! It was a complete Patrol in the U.S. at one time. Absolutely! Thanks! :D

My favorite picture of my Patrol! It ran beautiful that day!
In the next couple months it’s getting a 4.7 stroker engine (260hp-255ftlb Torque compared to the stock 4.0 195 HP-180ftlb Torque), Dada 44 rear axle with rear disk brakes, ARB air lockers front and rear with 4.10 gears!
In the next year or so I might update the computer (ECM) to the OBD2 so I can program it for the installation of a Sprintex supercharger!

Coyote Patrol has been down for a couple weeks! I installed a Dana 44 in the rear, it also has disk brakes! I installed ARB air lockers front and rear with 410 gears! I will also install the ARB twin cylinder air compressor this weekend! Thi compressor will run air tools! I did a spring over axle conversion front and rear giving me 6 more inches of lift! I’m also installing 17” Mammoth Boulder wheels and 34” BFG KM3s! And I’m also converting it to an external clutch slave cylinder. While I do this, it will receive a Kevlar clutch!

I see Santa has been circling over your shop for weeks! I presume it is finished now

So now you can bring it up to Lake city and help us show that "off the shelf" Dotards what they will never
