just want to say thanks for taking the time to keep us all in the loop with your build thread - don't have a clue where you find the time to make the progress you have so quickly but it's a great read and both informative and inspiring too - you're making it look all too easy !

Looking forward to the next installment, please keep it coming...

Cheers,
D

Well done. Once you get everything the way you want it please share a complete list of which machine shop has your specs and can repeat your success.

RiverPatrol - I presume the 69 parts shown herein will fit on all the year models in the 60s. If not please offer us guidance on which years his wonderful upgrade will work on.

I have all of the specs for the brakes because I designed all the parts myself. I will happily share everything. I already made a separate thread for the rear brake disc swap, and will do the same for the fronts.

hopefully this week I will be picking up the last of the front brake parts. Will try to get it together by early next week and post the info.

Seats are at the upholstery shop getting made up...

Next item would be getting the driveshafts made...

Then wheels (maybe) and tires!

I also had to order a new steering damper...the other one I ordered wouldnt compress enough and was bottoming out. The damper I chose (to basically replace the OEM one) is a Monroe SC2916. 13.25" compressed length, 22.25" extended length.

Starting to rethink my steering arm setup.....

Does anyone know if the studs at the top of the steering knuckle are removed easily? Are they simply threaded in? I am thinking of taking the cap off, removing the studs, and using longer studs so I can attach a high steer arm in this location.

awesome, thank you so much! and fast reply!

next question, do you by any chance know the thread size/pitch of those studs? and for 10 bonus points, do you know the bolt spacing/pattern? trying to design my own steering arm, OR see if an off the shelf arm for another common type knuckle will fit.
