Paradise Found!

In 2016 we all started the rebuild of the Green Machine.

The season is over, the trains of Jeeps gone. I had finally space to recover from a bad situation so the ascent of Engineer's Pass was at hand.

The very rough 20 mile climb through 14 major landslides and 4 dramatic switchbacks rumbled under tire effortlessly. The motor never broke cadence which kept my wife supportive throughout.

Yesterday's climb was much more aggressive so I knew all systems were finally a go. That heater sure came in handy.

Thank you for all your support, parts and prayers. These type treks require fully operational equipment. I'll feel even better once Rene upgrades my brake Master this winter.

Patrolling in Paradise,
L60Boerne

Woo hoo! Good job David. Great timing and great effort on your part. The fall is really the best in the high country when the tourist activity dies down and the crisp air is like a tonic. This is when you get a Rocky Mountain high. Did you experience any glitches; brakes okay, idle good and that kind of stuff? River needs to come up with something like and Eagle Scout badge for intrepid Patrolers.
Hopefully I will be able to provide you with an equally good trip report for our hunt. Heading up today.

Thank you to all,

I will just say that the mission is not complete and I hope to complete "The Loop" with more Patrollers. I do think we should avoid the summer. The dust and volume of offroaders is unbelievable.

So, now I am confident in both Patrols. Now we will plan toward the first two weeks of October next year.

Patrolling towards Oct 2020,

Greeting Gurus and Patrollees Worldwide,

CCV 7 aka my white 63 Patrol needs new front side roll up windows. My local auto glass company claims the replacement tempered glass is $325 per window. Does that sound right? If not, please direct me to a more reasonable supplier.

Thanks in advance,
