Re: Windshield Profile and Rubber

I was at the Solvang Datsun Roadster Rally in April and Ross Mullen from Sports Imports was there. He has acquired all the Patrol rubber made by (I forget his name in So Cal) for the Patrol and I bought a whole set for very reasonable - he is liquidating stock and retiring. The parts I have are equi...

Re: Patrol air cleaner cover???

That forklift is so cool! Datsun based its car short blocks on forklifts or vice versa so when I needed oversize rod bearings for my 2000 Roadster they're available at the local forklift supply house - no kidding, imagine a race car with fork lift bearings. That's what I did. I seem to remember that...

A number of 1/64 Patrol models are available on eBay. This is my favorite, comes with two surfboards. When it arrives I'll post some pictures.

Interesting. My Patrol in the hills above Inyokern, CA. I lived in Ridgecrest. Don't remember ever seeing this Patrol there although there were several in town.

Re: What have you done to your 60 Series Patrol this week...

Technically not a breakdown as it made it halfway back in the driveway after the 30 mi or so trip through the monsoon. But certainly out of character. RP - can you say a bit more about why the flame thrower coil is a marginal idea and what problems might develop. It’s the coil that Petronics recomme...

Re: What have you done to your 60 Series Patrol this week...

There is not a single straight road in MD, I had Debbie wazing and calling out the turns, beautiful scenery no traffic. What could possibly go wrong? ...

That would be great. Went to a lot of trouble to have the base refurbished as you can see. Let me know if you have one
Thanks!

Re: Done light lens

I’m in the same fix as RP. Anyone have a dome lens. I’ve redone the headliner and all the seats so I’ve no excuse for a bare bulb hanging out.

Re: different carb

My Aussie Ute has a Stromberg on it, and it runs great. I know other Aussies run the Stromberg and like it also. Ditto here, Strombergs are simple, and I thought that is what all US imported Patrols came with. I've had to play around with main-jetting to some extent but seems happy now.One thing to...
