I sold her today. Here she is as the new owner drover her away for her 2 hour drive to her new home, during which she did great.
I highly recommended the forum to the new owner.

Is it possible that I have a CV joint system and I don't have any more fittings, as the Esso Service chart would suggest? According to the chart, that would mean I have only two front axle housing fittings and 8 front suspension and steering linkage fittings. Or is the chart incorrect?

I went looking for the additional 2 grease fittings in the front axle and 2 grease fittings in or near the bearing cap and struck out. I found only the one grease fitting on the axle jacket (one on both sides). What am I missing?

Thank you Esteban (there never seems to be the thank you button next to your posts). For some foolish reason I was thinking the rear drive shaft would turn by hand, completely forgetting it is locked into the rear axle (unlike the front drive shaft).

I'm not sure my dog knows what to make of it yet. It is more than a bit louder and quite a bit rougher ride than he is used to. That's called personality. ;) I'm sure that extra leaf spring stiffened up the ride. the Patrol suspension typically provides a pretty nice ride, when it's all up to snuff...

I like that washer fluid setup. Adding one is definitely on my list. I don't know how that wasn't a standard item.
