There, behind Brie - I spy with my little eye

Perhaps real, might be video efx . . . NissanCommercialBrieLarson.jpg For those interested in a bit more, here is the full commercial on Y...

1970 LG60 “Oso” on YT
Hey all, Long time no post but Oso lives on - since adding Raul’s soft top and frame, the money pit Oso had been has dried up substantially. Very happy with the current build and have finally kicked all the reliability issues. A buddy from CA was in town and he featured Oso on his YouTube channel - ...

1980 LG61 on CL in SATX
https://austin.craigslist.org/cto/d/san-antonio-1980-nissan-patrol-lg-61/7438041740.html This came up today in a standing search I have set up (I have no relationship with the seller) - looks like a well-kept Colombian example with typical hard top, etc. Price is $35k. Right in L60Boerne's backyard...

Re: 1970 LG60 MWB soft top
David, that is a must do, though let's do it sooner than later while the temps are still moderate! Would love to roll around the Liar sometime - really taken with that part of the country between Junction and Menard/Eden. Still have not gotten Oso into real trouble - need to break in the NP241 TC an...

Re: 1970 LG60 MWB soft top
Greetings all! Over the holidays, I got Oso back into the shop for a host of items I wanted to address but most importantly to install the new soft top and frame from user Raul. I had the frame painted to match and since my shop had the color blended up, we refinished the windshield, hood and both r...

Re: 63 CA Patrol - "Pumpkin"
Nobueno- Nice find! I too love CoolNVintage and have many inspirational photos of their work saved locally. A quick search here will find you another Patrolee who is making a disk brake conversion kit for stock Patrols. My 1970 Patrol was already a small block 350, auto tranny resto-mod when I bough...

Re: 69 patrol restoration and 350 Small Block Chevy install
This is the direction that I went with Oso, my 1970 MWB - PO had installed SBC 350 with TH350 tranny mated to a '75 Toyota LC transfer case what would not shift into 4x4. I dumped the LC TC and replaced it with a NP 231 and replaced front and rear axles with a set from ~2001 Cherokee (Dana 30 up fro...

Same, down to the identical license plate from Colombia. Asking price was $29,900 several years ago so that would certainly be some appreciation! If you don't ask, the answer is an automatic no, or so I have been told!

Re: 1970 LG60 MWB soft top
Oso update from Austin: Spent some time in late June to remove the soft top frame and doors and open it up for summer trips around town. I was inspired by some Instagram pics making their way around of a LR Series II in about the same state - looks great to my eye. Hauled a sports team through our a...
