Re: Harmonic Balancer? Vibration Dampener?
Well, it appears L60 is going to have me pull the engine and go through it to solve some of the issues I have found. Naturally it will need at least a set of rings, bearings, lifters (can I regrind the lifters?) and basic components to insure I don't have any further issues when I am done. He is get...

Re: Harmonic Balancer? Vibration Dampener?
The P engine on the Patrol doesn't have any vibration dampener, since by default it is statically and dynamically balanced (provided all the individual components are balanced themselves). Very strange what you describe, unless the timing order is not correct, some cylinders are not firing, or a se...

Re: Rear Axles Bearings Possibly Needed
Hi all, L60 Boerne, I let you know how much your post means to me. As I said rarely do mechanics get a simple Thank you, let alone a post about it. :D To the rest of you out there, my "Serpentine Approach" is as a result of 35+ years in the automotive industry. When I perform a service of ...

Re: Rear Axles Bearings Possibly Needed
Greeting O Gifters of Nissan Gold, CCV4 may need replacement rear bearings. I want to use it in November so I prefer to source the bearings around here, if possible. So if anyone has a spare set of extra rear axle bearings please let me know, if you are willing to give them up. It seemed to drive f...
