Alright,I found a fuel,gas, petrol cap whatever you wanna call it that fits our patrols.part number #19114670.non vented cap.i don't think it looks like the original,not sure mine was missing.
Fits nice and tight.

Yep that's the washer.i installed a make shift washer and the bearing you mentioned.not a fan of the bearing tho, it has a plastic retainer.the one i pulled out was metal.counter shaft is in usable condition.minor damage.the bearing was the only failure in the trans.sounded terrible I have a video o...

That image doesn't look anything like my transmission.the bearing I'm talking about is right below the input shaft bearing.i wish I could up load my full size pictures.doesnt work on my phone.

I can't upload the pics from the service manual.but it states,raise countershaft gear assembly with hand thru power take off hole.insert front washer and drive in roller bearing.this washer the service manual says to put in is on the front counter shaft behind bearing.its just weird it wasn't there ...

Countershaft bearing failure
This bearing is in the front.im not sure why it failed,but it looks like the lower race started riding forward.i can't upload the full pic.i can send it in a email.is there supposed to be a flat washer behind this bearing?mine didn't have it.

Thanks for the replay been busy working sorry.i have the Vin tags in place as well as the frame vin.the problem is if you run the Vin it comes up as a 66 DeVille.chp needs proof that is an original vin.if I could find the registry I could show them my Vin number is close to other years in sequence.v...

67 patrol owner need help with registry
I pickup up a 67 patrol.had no title went to California dmv and they said I need some sort of proof my Vin is legit with paperwork.do you guys have the registry list to show chp my Vin is the correct.wont let me post image of Vin or frame number.
