Day Trip -Gifford Pinchot NF, Washington

Just sharing a few pix of her first run into the woods since the paint job (up by Panther Creek)... grabbed some outstanding fish and chips at Brigham Fish Market in Cascade Lockes across Bridge of the Gods, on the trip home. Taking her by Jack Lake for a more substantial trip, next weekend! Cheers,...

Re: Greetings from Bogota, Colombia

Thanks for the info, RiverPatrol. Was hoping the later model hard tops like Ken’s would have similar rubber in rear door glass but maybe they changed it. You come across a source for them, ever? I had new glass cut and a local shop install but the radius was too tight for their weatherstripping and ...

Re: Greetings from Bogota, Colombia

Your Patrol looks awesome. I love the longer wheelbase models and later tops. How much are decent condition ones for sale for, down there, in dollars? There are so many parts you could probably purchase there and send to the States. If you are able to find 69 and later door hinges (or just the hinge...

Re: Questionable intentions

There is a stretched body in Yucca Valley, California (Palm Springs) right now in pretty good shape (from the looks of the photos) on Craigslist. I think it is only $1k and might save you some time. Sounds like it is situated on a Wagoneer frame and axels with no motor or transmission. Then, you cou...

Top Seals/rubber

Anyone found a top seal kit for a short wheel base 60 hard top? I ordered an FJ40 one and have my fingers crossed that it can be modified to work but it wouldn’t hurt to have a backup plan. If anyone has resealed the top, please share any lessons learned. I’m guessing the rain gutter/cap seal to the...

Re: Recently Purchased Patrol in Oregon

Well, the body work and paint are officially in process! Going with that new Toyota Cement (glossy primer grey with a bit of metallic). Found a great restoration shop that does a lot of classic Broncos and Scouts to work on it. I had to have new hinge pins made for the doors which were ridiculously ...
