duel fuel tank for 160
Has any one know much about making dual fuel tanks. Labour is cheap where I ame from and I am looking at the best way to go about making my own thick steel duel fuel tanks would appriciate any in sight in to this.sal

As for the getting more fuel, you can do that from out side the pump. you have a lock nut on the back end of the pump which you twist out to regulate the fuel flow into the pump. I just gave it a 3/4 twist and it is much better. I know the feeling when you have your fuel line closed full, you wonder...

SD33 engine revs when warm.
I had a similar problem on my SD 33 engine, which was corrected by removing the thermorstat valve on top of the water pump. I live in a tropical country so I don't need it, you may have to replace it if you live in a cold climate. hope it solves the problem. cheers sal

turbo for standed sd 33
I have a MQ 160 and got it fitted with a faily new SD 33 engine. I am looking at putting in a Turbo unit. can any one advise me what is in the market and what kind of boost pressure will the engine be able to handle. I am in L.A. on business and would love to find a place that I can get one. sal
