If you don't mind getting rid of the oil bath filter system you can replace the whole air filter setup for about 60.00 US. I did this on my 67. I bought a 4 inch air filter kit that many use on a vw bug, I threw out the cheap filter and replaced it with a K and N filter. The new filter is about 4...
