Brake light switch
Mine failed and I simply went to my local NAPA store and looked at the brake switch pages in their master catalog and matched one up perfectly. The switch is not unique to the Patrol. Bill T

Looking for feedback from enthusiasts...
Sounds like a great idea. If you have the means to do it then you should! I would definitely use you as a source and support your business. Speaking of that, I need a door pull-strap, a shifter boot and an original tool box and jack. Anyone have these that they want to sell? Bill T (GTB)

rear differential parts and trailer hitch
Thanks for the response regarding the diff. bearings and hitch. The hitch I need is the OEM bolt on ball-type. Both the hook and ball types came with the trucks when new. If anyone has one, again, I'd like to buy it rather than make one. Also, if anyone can help me out with differential part numbers...

rear differential parts and trailer hitch
Does anyone know where to get diff. carrier bearings, pinion bearings, axle and pinion seals for my '70 Patrol? I also would like to buy an original trailer hitch if anyone has one, or swap my chain hook for one. Please send me a note if you can help out. Thanks! Bill T.

Roof racks
I just installed a Thule rack on my Long Wheelbase. Go to their web-site or any bicycle dealer and look at the catalog. I purchased four of the 12'' leg assemblies (gutter mount style) and two cross rails. You can then mount pretty much anything on these rails. Thule sells all the accessories you'l...

Carb. and/or parts
Anyone out there have an overhaul kit for the Hitachi carb used on the Patrols? I'm also looking for an entire heating system. It MUST be 100% intact and functional (petcock, heater core/case, defroster ducts and hoses, etc.) Any info. would be appreciated.

Possible Postal Patrol
Alex .....and I thought I was the only one to share such an insult! As I referenced in my "where were you guys 5 years ago" note posted further down the message list, I too was tired of the mail truck references with my previous Patrol. That was then, this is now....I now have aquired ano...
